Remedial Massage and Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Coronavirus or not, wash your hands | Charlotte County Florida Weekly

The NSW Department of Health has now officially recognised remedial massage as an important health service, therefore allowing our therapists to return to work in the current climate of COVID-19 suppression.

See the NSW Department of Health notification from April 16, 2020 – https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/diseases/Pages/covid-19-health-services.aspx

We’re happy to announce that Trinacria Health Therapy will therefore reopen its clinics for remedial massage treatments, with extra infection control procedures in place to keep our clients and therapists as safe as possible. We apologize that relaxation massage treatments will not be provided at this time.

In preparation for our reopening, all of our therapists have undertaken the Federal Government’s COVID-19 infection control training.

We will be adding a 15-minute break between appointments, to allow enhanced cleaning and to minimize the number of people in the clinic at any given time. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait outside the clinic or in your car, and we will text you when the clinic is ready for your treatment to begin.

When you enter the clinic, please sanitise your hands with the alcohol-based gel provided on the front counter.

You will then be asked a few questions about your current health. If you have been overseas, in contact with anyone that has been overseas or who has the flu, and if you are feeling unwell, please don’t come to the clinic. Call us before you arrive and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment. No Cancellation Fee will be charged.

On completion of your treatment, we ask that you again sanitise your hands before leaving the clinic.

These enhanced hygiene measures are designed for everyones safety, and come on top of our already high standard of cleaning and infection controls, including single-use linen for every client and commercial laundering.

We’re reassured that remedial massage has been recognised as an important health service, and one that can help take pressure off our front-line medical services during this pandemic. We look forward to providing you with quality care and treatments again in the near future.
